Urban Warfare Intensifies in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, Ukrainian Military Reports
Urban combat is raging in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk as Russian forces have intensified their presence near Kreminna, Siversk, Toretsk, and Kurakhove, according to Ukrainian military officials and assessments from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) conducted on 28-29 December 2024.
Russian forces have been actively pursuing the capture of the remaining parts of Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, specifically targeting Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, and other Ukrainian strongholds in recent months.
