So, like, Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Moshe Azman decided to drop a sick beat for US President Donald Trump, asking him to help Ukraine out and achieve “a just and lasting peace.” The US is currently trying to work out a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, but things are kinda at a standstill because Ukraine is not down with Russia’s demands. They want stuff like no NATO membership, recognizing annexed territories, stayin’ neutral, lifting sanctions, and giving back all the frozen assets. It’s a whole drama, man.

In a three-minute video, they show some footage of Russia straight-up attacking Kyiv on April 24 and killing 13 people. And then there’s more footage of other Russian attacks, like on Sumy during Palm Sunday, where 35 people lost their lives. It’s pretty intense stuff.

In the video, Rabbi Asman is dropping some serious truth bombs in English, calling out Trump to step up and fight for what’s right. He sings, “Donald Trump, it’s time to fight in the name of light,” and talks about how the “tsar’s throne is built on fear and hate.”

And then he hits us with the big finale, saying “It’s time to crush the evil empire,” referring to Russia’s aggressive moves against Ukraine. It’s like a whole movie plot unfolding in real life, man.

The Chief Rabbi’s adopted son, Matisyahu (Motia) Samborsky, actually died fighting for Ukraine on the frontlines. So, this appeal is coming from a pretty personal place for Rabbi Asman.

He’s been making some serious moves lately, even inviting Trump’s spiritual advisor, Mark Burns, to come check out the situation in Ukraine. Burns was kinda against giving military aid to Ukraine at first, but after seeing the devastation in places like Bucha, Irpin, and Borodyanka, he did a complete 180. He started calling for more military support, dissed the idea that Ukraine is suppressing religion, and straight-up called Putin “pure evil” for going after civilians.

He’s all about how this war is a humanitarian crisis and how Ukraine needs tanks, F-35s, and anti-air weapons, not just cash. And he’s telling his Republican buddies to get on board with the whole ammo over money thing.

Rabbi Azman also met up with Ben Shapiro, a conservative commentator, when Shapiro was in Ukraine talking to President Zelenskyy. It’s like a whole squad of influencers getting together to make some noise about what’s going down in Ukraine.

Man, it’s a wild ride out there. But it’s good to see people like Rabbi Asman and Pastor Burns stepping up and speaking out. Maybe there’s hope for crushing that evil empire after all. Who knows, man? Life is crazy.
